BumbleB 3339

Team BumbleB 3339 is from "Ish Shalom" high school in Kfar Yona, Israel.

The team is located in "Ish Shalom School Robotics Building.

The team competes in FIRST Robotics Competition since 2010.

The project started with a small group of students but grew with time and now the team has about 60 team member.

Team 3339 BumbleB volunteer in many outreach activities:

  • ​Mentoring FIRST LEGO League Junior teams from elementary schools in Kfar-Yona.

  • Mentoring FIRST LEGO League teams from middle schools in Kfar-Yona.

  • Mentoring FIRST Tech Challenge teams from middle school in Kfar-Yona.

  • Volunteering in 2 Autistic hostels in Yanuv.

Our team has performed far beyond expectations, the team qualified to the FIRST Championship 6 times and was the first EVER Israeli team to win a division in the championship and to play in EINSTIEN field.

These achievements would not have been possible without our mentors, parents, suppurters and sponsors.

Kfar Yona

Kfar Yona is a town in the Sharon Subdistrict in the Center District of Israel. It is about 7 km east of the Mediterranean sea shore city of Netanya, Surrounding it are many other small towns, kibbutzim and villages. Kfar Yona (meaning Yona's village) is named after Jean (Yona) Fischer, a Belgian Zionist. It was founded on Tu Bishvat, January 23, 1932 by Morris Fischer, Yona's son, a member of the World Jewish Congress, and was originally named Gan Yona ("Yona's Garden").
